MxD

Almost One Month

It's been almost one month since we've started this new story with Anon-chan.  Definitely a different approach to the story that I sometimes find myself struggling with. It's a good challenge, though.  I'd have to say my major concern is being able to get posts out regularly with my work schedule the way it is.

I guess that's the nature of the beast, though.  This is still just a hobby.  I'm definitely trying to keep everything going, though.  With both new and old friends coming back, I feel more invested in trying.

Hopefully you guys stick along for the ride.

Almost One Year

It's crazy to me how it's been almost one year since I decided to register this domain for myself. Since then, I've been able to experience a great number of things, from working to develop my career to moving to a new house... and all this time, I haven't made good on my intentions with the site or MxD.

It's hard to find time to just sit down on the weekend (or whenever I have a day or two off) just to write.  Sometimes it's hard because I just don't feel the creative itch, other times I am just exhausted and need to sleep in on my days off.  It's more difficult than I had expected, and I can't help but think back to when I lived with my parents and the amount of fun they must've had when they had me to look after on top of work.

So now it's... Saturday morning, and I'm at work.  I'm here for 12 hours, and I find myself hoping for as much dead time as possible.  It's a day shift, am to pm, so I doubt I'll have as much time to myself as I did last weekend when I was on pm to am, but I can hope. I want to bring the story back, and I have some ideas for alternate starts.

We'll see what happens in the future, as I'm thinking of where I want to host the game again.  I know 4chan has a quest board now, but at the same time, I don't want to visit 4chan while I may be at work.  That leaves Anonkun.com or perhaps hosting it here on the site.  One would definitely be more conducive to generating a larger audience, but...

Well, I guess we'll see in the coming days.  For now, it's back to work.
